Brain Injuries
Kosto Injury Law
Some people sustain injuries to their brain following an accident. These injuries are not always easy to detect. At Kosto Injury Law, we get to know our clients. We will ask our clients many questions about the impact of the accident on their everyday activities. There is a checklist that suggest a possibility of a brain injury including:
    1. Loss of consciousness even if it was only a short period of time.
    2. Persistent Headaches.
    3.Repeated Vomiting or nausea.
    4. Convulsions or seizures.
    5. Dilation of one or both pupils of the eyes.
    6. Clear fluids draining from the nose or ears.
    7. Inability to awaken from sleep.
    8. Quickness to anger.
    9. Changes in personality.
If we suspect our clients may have sustained a brain injury, we will suggest that our clients get this medically diagnosed as soon as possible. Seeing a neurologist or a neuropsychologist is a good start to properly evaluate one’s potential brain injury from an accident.
